We’ve had a few questions regarding Breakaway classifications, so we want to clarify the guidelines for the Intermediate Division.

Intermediate Breakaway Rider Guidelines:

To compete in the Intermediate Division, riders should have: $20,000 or less Lifetime Earnings (LTE) in Futurity Breakaway events OR $40,000 or less Lifetime Earnings (LTE) in Rodeo events.

If a rider exceeds these earnings thresholds, eligibility for the Intermediate Division may still be considered by the Eligibility Board. Riders who believe they qualify for the Intermediate Division should enter the Intermediate when submitting entries. The Eligibility Board will review classifications and make the final determination
