All owners and riders must have a current ARHFA membership before entering an Old West/ARHFA event. Memberships expire on December 31 each year. If the rider and registered owner are the same person, only one membership is required.

The owner listed on the entry form must match the owner shown on the horse’s AQHA or APHA registration papers. If the names do not match, a membership must be purchased for the owner currently listed on the papers. We recommend completing all ownership transfers before entering to avoid additional membership fees. The online entry system connects directly to AQHA and APHA records and will flag incorrect ownership information.
